Extreme Feral Hog Eradication
Am Shooting Journal ^ | 10/26/2017 | C Bailey

Posted on 10/26/2017 7:04:01 AM PDT by w1n1

Hogs are a big problem in Texas, and this is a solution. You are going to want to see this.

Get the popcorn ready, because this hog eradication is pretty wild. No shortage of bacon for these guys. Farmers are happy, freezers are full, it is a win-win for all those involved. Except for the pigs, of course.

They lay it on the line and tell you how it is so that they don’t get negative feedback and viewers bashing them for the content by explaining what is actually going on below. There is nothing worse than a hunter being deemed unethical and accused for not actually “hunting” or being “unsportsman-like.” They are there to eradicate, end of story.

If you aren’t from a state similar to Texas, which has an incredible feral hog problem, this video is hard to understand. They are everywhere and need taken out by all means necessary. See the feral hog eradication video here.

I heard the taste of feral pig is not good. But then some say otherwise.

Grind them up and feed them to other pigs.

The pork I have had from feral pigs has been excellent.

I heard from an avid hunter that 50lbs is the limit. It’s hard to find butchers too. Most won’t take dead animals.

Love it! Come hunting in Arkinsaw - plenty of feral bacon up here, too.

Sows tend to be better than boars, at least flavor-wise.

They make great dog food or catfish bait.

Trap them feed them in pens for a month. Once they are fattened, slaughter & process.

Is it hard to get them to stand on a scale before you blast them with a 12 gauge?

In our state (Ark) feral pigs have psudo-rabies. Eat at your own risk. Most just shoot them and leave them to rot or feed vultures and maggots.
