The third Bunkerville Standoff trial of four men (Cliven Bundy, Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy and Ryan Payne) will begin Monday with jury selection.
Meanwhile, US District Judge Gloria Navarro has agreed to a fourth day of questioning in an evidence hearing that ran Monday thru Wednesday.
A defense attorney pointed out inconsistent testimony from two Bureau of Land Management officials about shredding of documents.
"Redoubt News" reports that when fired BLM agent Dan Love testified at the hearing he said that the Obama Administration US Attorney in Las Vegas Daniel Bogden was involved in decision making about the release of the cattle on April 12, 2014 that precipitated the standoff. The news story points to the notion that Bogden may have been using the release of the cattle to entrap the defendants.
Jury selection in the trial is set to begin Monday morning at 8:30am in Las Vegas.
Why would anyone believe a government agent?
It will be amusing to watch the whacked out judge from this trial trying to explain the nut burger rulings made were not an active part of trying to force Hillary ‘s russian uuranium deal through and get it out of the public eye.

It does appear that the Uranium scandal has webs all over this - would explain the sudden thrust by BLM and the patriots that showed up probably prevented a Ruby Ridge/Waco type incident.

The Feds have Ex-Extra Special BLM Agent Dan Love betwixt a yuge boulder and as very immovable surface for scalping burning man tickets, and giving away logged evidence in other FBI cases, so there really is no telling what the hell he is gonna say. But I am like you. Every word out of Dan Love’s mouth is a lie to protect his own skin.
He will be branded with a scarlet letter if his testimony lets the Bundy’s walk free. If they even let him testify.
As time went on they denigrated people focusing on how the land was originally seized by the government and why.
They insisted that the local ranchers were just squatters. Not people whose land had been seized without proper compensation in order to arm the communists, but modern day squatters. It got fairly contentious.
The evidence on the uranium deal was credible at the beginning. This didn't just materialize now.
And the judge, the prosecution, the law enforcement personnel, the Bureau of Land Management workers etcetera had credible information presented to them by Bundy’s supporters if nowhere else enough that there is no one anywhere in this mess who just “made a mistake” or who “just didn't know. “
Jeff Sessions coming into town the other month and praising the Acting US Attorney in Vegas who is the lead prosecutor in the case, Steven Myhre, may “inspire” this Democrat judge to be less friendly to him in in this trial.
She has changed direction in this trial after the first two fiasco kanagaroo court trials.
The D versus R political swirl may rebound to the defendants advantage.
