An acquaintance’s 20 year old son was dressed up as a guy from the fifties, leather jacket, etc. Looked perfect.
I said he looked like the Fonz. He looked at me puzzled. I said you know, Arthur Fonzarelli. He replied, Who?
I felt old.
Neither of our daughters-in-law ever heard of Roy Rogers. But Happy Days ran fro 1974-1984. So the last episode has been 33 years ago now. Not surprising that these people do not know the stars of old, just as I don’t know a good majority of the new stars.
