Gee, maybe that might have something to do with the 40% “hispanic” population (er, Mexican) that votes in nutcase far leftists, you know, the population that used to 10% of the town in 1960?
I remember hearing that flag flapping in the wind when I drove down Speedway as a kid in the ‘60s, was always refreshing.

I doubt it is the Mexicans - but more likely the transplanted Califlowers that fled to Tucson for low taxes only to bring the liberal mindset that destroyed CA in less than a generation.
The classic Californian is both a disease and a pox on the land.
Unfortunately, this social plague has been loosed and cannot be contained as it has metastasized across the entire Nation.
