Pat Nixon was reserved but a real pillar of strength for her husband. She took a lot of undeserved flack. Don't know if I have a "favorite" first lady but Pat Nixon is one whom I admire.

Yes, Pat Nixon. She was pure class. Her daughter, Julie, wrote an incredibly interesting book about her life. Pat Nixon was an amazing woman who truly worked hard her entire life and overcame so much. I have so much respect for her.
