Free Republic is basically our news site for what is really happening in the USA and the crazy world.
I visit Fox News internet site a few short times a day. Their internet site still provides some good real news.
We get our local news from our local Nixel.

Amen! I get more, and more up-to-date, news from our FR forum than from any other news site on the net, never mind the broadcast stations. And a greater variety and breadth of opinion, too. Granted, we are a Conservative site, and we don't cotton to liberal whining and lies. But those aren't news anyway.
I've been a monthly donor for many years now, and proudly speak of FR as the best website on the internet, for news, politics, and a wide variety of other topics of interest to intelligent and concerned Americans.
