American Civil Rights Union ^ | 12/6/17 | Walter Williams

ACRU Policy Board member Walter Williams explains that black students all too often are given “fraudulent diplomas” from failing school systems like that in Baltimore, where in 13 of 39 schools, not one single student tested “proficient” in math. His solution is to “break the education monopoly” with school choice, vouchers, tuition tax credits and charter schools.

The NEA played a little game. They came up with a bunch of programs designed to "uneducate" their students. They couldn't implement the programs in white schools because white parents complain too easily. So, they decided to "experiment" with these programs in black schools because black parents don't complain.

Have you ever wondered why Common Core ever got traction? Well, that is because for decades the NEA were sending their teacher agents to special retraining where all these little nuggets of Common Core were laced together. They experimented on black kids and did their due diligence to find out just how they could create an eduction program that would "look" like it was educating but in fact it really wasn't.

Then as time went on they got enough school superintendents and teacher change agents in place that they were able to convince regular white schools of the special superiority of Common Core. Then they got Bill Gates on board. And the rest is history.

Educational Rot.

Unions advocate for the self-interest of the many classifications of government school employees.

Power and government control never produce freedom, opportunity for children and their own learning performance.

Such government involvement and control overlook an imperative and ancient maxim: ". . . fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

Adopting common core came with huge amounts of federal taxpayer money. It was called Race to theTop or some such.

What? You expect to measure government performance by RESULTS? Are you nuts? All that matters is that their INTENTIONS were good. Please don’t let me be misunderstood on this.

His solution is to “break the education monopoly” with school choice, vouchers, tuition tax credits and charter schools...and yet an article in the Press of Atlantic City a few days ago covered great concern among some educators that charter schools, although touted as a way to better education for minorities, had become too segregated with blacks predominating, and that their educational standings had fallen dramatically - the solution - enroll more whites.......
