The 2012 Civic was a disaster because Ito stopped process of making first run test components to look for engineering flaws.
Ito went from computer to production and the Civic was, as I stated, a disaster.
When Ito hit the age limit, he refused to leave the Presidency, instead opted to take a 35% decrease in his salary for, I think, six months due to the problems with the Civic.
The board cautioned him to retire, and he did not leave.
They kicked him in the ass and showed him the door - no BOD position.
