As a queer femme of color, I keep close relationships with people who go beyond allyship; theyre true accomplices in the fight against white supremacy, queerphobia, and misogyny. If youre not going to support marginalized folks, then we cant be friends, let alone date. The personal is political.
Beyond the lovely cushioning, happiness and support that we receive from our platonic relationships (which are, in all honesty, soul-feeding and essential), feminists also date! But there are questions we have to ask before we get close to someone.

Hehehehe...”Cat Lady Starter Kit”!!
I love this aspect of liberalism. You don't even need to read past the first sentence, or even the first few words to know exactly and unerringly what they are going to say.
Liberals have saved me more time in my life than nearly all other things put together. Those minutes or two you never have to obsess about never getting back all add up over time!
“The personal is political”
Alliteration as a justification for bigotry? How special.
One world, one reality, two different perceptions of the reality. One sane, one insane.
In short, anyone who can seriously say the word “trans-misogynoir “ is not part of the culture of this planet, and needs to rapidly go find another planet.
It’s sometimes difficult to believe people who think like the author actually exist.
The indoctrination is complete and probably irreversible.
>>...They say they love women, but that love is conditional on not having their toxic masculinity questioned or threatened in any way... It is crucial for cishet men to learn how to decenter their male privilege in order for them to understand the multitudes of interpretations of femininity and womanhood.
Any bets on how she pronounces ‘cishet men’?
And “all men” have toxic male privilege but there are multitudes of interpretations of femininity and womanhood, got that?
There’s only one important question to ask on a first date....
Unfortunately it would get deleted if I posted it hete... ;-p
"....sheeesh she really hates white guys"
OK - somebody ‘splain me this.
If you’re gonna express your sexuality in intersections,
isn’t that like really dangerous with the cross traffic
Sounds like a radical leftist test. Should one wrong answer prompt a screaming condescending lecture followed by a storming out the door?
I’m so glad I’m 49 and happily married..
Maybe I need some more coffee this morning, but I have no idea what she (he?) is talking about. But for some reason I’m not inclined to read the whole article to find out.
Anti-capitalism, especially in the U.S., is imperative if you have an understanding of systemic racism, the prison industrial complex, the 13th Amendment, and exploitation. Capitalism, for one, teaches us that we are only valuable if we produce capital. That means that if you arent contributing to the system with your labor, your life means almost nothing.
If your date says theyre anti-fascist and part of the resistance but theyre cool with exploiting labor from communities of color and they support the school to prison pipeline, then theres a good chance theyll only value you for your ability to nurture them without any reciprocation.
Actually, this whole article exists as a colorful wrapper for this quaintly Bolshevist bullet point - which is what it's author and backers really wanted published.
Does she/it/'they' speak out against the Islamist colonizing of Europe imposing sharia law and conquered "no go zones" on the indigenous peoples of European countries and their culture?
I doubt it, she's pro-BDS and pro-Palestinian separatism because for the far Left it's always about "the struggle" just as it was when Hitler wrote about his "struggle" against Jews.
Any male who looks to a militant lesbian hung up on race for advice about dating deserves what he’s got coming good and hard. That would be no one but leftist males so I’m oddly OK with that.
>>Anti-capitalism, especially in the U.S., is imperative if you have an understanding of systemic racism
Honey, you could just cut to the quick if you’d wear a Communist red star armband on your arm and ask your potential dates to discuss their favorite parts of Mao’s Little Red Book.
I get the feeling that all Intersectional Feminist Dates are first dates.
Just a shot in the dark...but I’m guessing the writer looks nothing like the hottie pictured in the article.
No point reading the rantings of a racist....
