They found Moore to be more strange than Strange, the GOPe sabotaged Moore and the dems cheated as per usual.

Yes, Trump was right about Moore, he is right about a lot of things.

That’s a good point. McConnell was happy to lose this seat. He didn’t seem bothered in the slightest. I too wonder if they care if they lose their majority. They lose their majority, they can blame Trump, Dems will hamstring Trump more than they are and try to impeach him, and they’ll proclaim the last thing we need is another person who isn’t establishment.

If there is a bright side to the Moore debacle it's this.

Democrats won a very dirty tactical victory with the help of the Republican entrenched elite, but they may lose the war.

The Roy Moore controversy really overshadowed the 2016 Democrat election scandals that are beginning to boil over.

If Moore had been elected the media circus would have dogged him for the next year as the Democrats would have made in the poster boy for the 2018 elections.

The media frenzy on Moore taking his seat in the Senate would have sucked all the oxygen out of the room and left no room for headlines on the uncovering of the Hillary Clinton cover up an the attempted coup against Trump by the DOJ, FBI and American intelligence community.

Roy Moore fading from the scene clears the airwaves for the scandals that are about to rock the nation as the Mueller Investigation is exposed as a partisan witch hunt and part of an ongoing attempt by high level government officials to cover up the Hilary Clinton and Obama Administration misconduct, abuse of power and attempts to steal the 2016 election.

Republicans are going to be really mad when they figure out how badly they were played by dirty tricks in the Roy Moore debacle.

The upcoming scandals are all about exposing Democrat dirty tricks and and election chicanery.

Democrats won't have Roy Moore as a lightning rod to distract the public from the emerging scandals, Democrats have opened the sexual harassment floodgates and they won't have Moore as their "Sexual Predator" whipping boy to hide behind and the fallout from the dirty tricks being exposed in the Clinton/Obama/Russia/FBI scandals could really hurt them in the Democrats in the 2018 mid term elections.

I still won't rule fraud out

Are the absentee votes counted? Logic is they would include a lot of military, plus seniors and rural voters who can't get to the polls. Logic also says that the surge in Democratic voters was after absentee ballots could've been requested. A full count would be interesting.

Meanwhile, we now know what we suspected about establishment Republicans. They'd rather lose elections than to cede power to their voting fodder. They've been stalling about passing their campaign promises. Now they'll have an excuse to do nothing but pass "tax reform"....ie: a handout to their deep-pocket donors.

A lot of people have been wondering why there was such huge effort to kill Roy Moore and that there must be more to the story.

A huge number of serious scandals are about to hit the Democrats and having Jones in the Senate is going to really help them fight off the emerging scandals.

Sexual harassment doesn’t hurt Democrats. They get elected regardless

Good analysis by the article author.

This article needs pinging out to all the chicken littles and doom-and-gloom posters on the AL election threads.

How does the above post abput Roy losing and thus not be a distraction from the upcoming swamp scandal revelations fit in with this :

“A huge number of serious scandals are about to hit the Democrats and having Jones in the Senate is going to really help them fight off the emerging scandals.”

Will the lack of diversion offset any help that having Jones might give the swampers?

But you are right Strange would have easily won...

Yep, just like Luther the Strange won his primary.

Thanks Pinkbell.
Trump said something at that rally, though, that stuck with me.  I never forgot it, and now it is more relevant than ever (Per Real Clear Politics): "But I have to say this, and you understand this and just look at the polls, Luther will definitely win," Trump said. "Roy has a very good chance of not winning in the general election. It's all about the general. Don't forget, we don't stop here. You have an election coming up the day this is over. So this is over on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, the new race begins. You've got to beat a Democrat. Luther is going to win easily and Roy's going to have a hard time winning. But I will be backing him if he wins.

1) Debates are basically lose lose propositions. Trump lost 2 and tied in the third

2) The media controls the narrative here so why does the author think Luther wouldn’t have been slammed with fake accusations like Moore was?

2) Rinse repeat for this strategy. Expect it to be used at the next bunch of Senate runs and probably just as successfully. The media already has 60% of Americans believing Russia colluded with Trump’s campaign. Despite ZERO evidence. The media says it = it must be true. Fox News is even celebrating this win for Jones, and they are just as much the fake news as any other network.

Okay because I firmly believed this was orchestrated by McConnell (and Rove, the Bush family). But you think they would have done it in the primary. However I don’t then know how to explain the knee jerk condemnation of a fellow Republican by McConnell, Cruz, Romney, McCain, ect... Why didn’t they give him the benefit of the doubt? Unless they planned this from the get go?

I can see the Dems retaking the Senate and firming up their minority in the House.

Well that is funny because everyone here on FR was praising Moore saying this was all BS, but NOW people here are saying he is a loon?

“I knew the minute I laid eyes on you, you had what it takes, Bud.”

Wall Street - The End

I agree. This worked so smashingly against Moore that they are going to resurrect the claims against Trump. With that and the Russian allegations they are going to take Trump down. The scariest thing I have seen in the Pew Poll showing that Americans are more concerned about sexual allegations (74%) to the economy (71%).

So Trump needs to accomplish what he can in this term. Will this spoil and derail tax reform? Getting judges through is going to be harder.

So I ask the question can and should Bannon bring the whole barn crashing and burning? I am guessing however that replacing incumbents in primaries will never get off the ground now. Voters will reject that, too scared of the unknown - like Moore - and stick with what is safe.

Except the RINOS in the senate are too stupid to take advantage of this. And sadly Americans actually still believe that something wrong was done in the Russia scandal.
