so why is there 1780 ballots cast that are not in the tally below?

And is that fully votes cast, because there was a comment last night on a thread that the SOS or some one of similar position said no Military votes that been counted. Not sure where that info came from.

I saw on http://www.governing.com/gov-data/military-civilian-active-duty-employee-workforce-numbers-by-state.html

there is over 8,000 active military from Alabama, and over 20,000 reserve.

Probably meant absentee military ballots

A. Under a new law passed in 2014, the deadline for receipt of UOCAVA ballots for
the primary, primary runoff, and general elections is noon on the 7th day following
the election, where such UOCAVA ballots are postmarked by the day of the primary,
primary runoff, or general election.
