I think the biggest drop in the investigation thus far, is when the House stopped going after Fusion GPS bank records -— once they initiated the subpoena, Fusion gave them everything they were asking for to make them go away.
I would suggest that Fusion GPS was likely involved in the most sordid of illicit political activities for their shady-ass clientele, and then laundered payments for the activity through their shop between various law firms and intermediaries.
Fusion bank records needs to be revisited.
New York.....NYPD....my guess is that Trump knew some of this.

My understanding is they likely did, as the DOJ refuses to answer the question per the Congressional testimonies. One version of rumor says they promised to pay but never actually did.
Be careful about casting aspersions on Rip Van Sessions. There are a couple of freepers who get their knickers all twisted when any doubts are raised about their 7-D chess-playing hero.
How long before we find out Steele, the Fibbers, and Clinton campaign people were all old golf buddies?
I agree that this testimony should be public, but I think the reason the committee opts for closed door testimony is because they want the witness to answer the questions instead of attempting to dodge them with the old “I’m sorry that information is classified, Congressman” answer that has been used and abused so many times.
I hope I live long enough so Sessions can prove me wrong. The man is the most frustrating person in this administration. He wanted the job so bad he sold himself and the country out. As for the 7-D chess player part please make me eat my words.
