Rofl! Was that from “I’m a philanderer” from Rush Limbaugh? Had forgotten.

I agree. People who know about this know everything there is to know about it and won’t care. People who don’t know about it will also not care.

Mass. born and raised, but escaped to Georgia.

The Kennedy mystique in Massachusetts is nothing more than pride in thinking Boston and its environs are the Hub of the Universe. Bostonians have internalized that myth and

The rise of JFK and Camelot solidified the myth of Bostonian intellectual and cultural elitism. The legends of Tom Brady, Bobby Orr, and Bob Cousy also played a part.

One thing I'll observe about Ted Kennedy's style is he would repeat the name of the state to reinforce State pride. At one key speech he declared, "I'll not forget you Massachusetts!"

Trump is very effective, too, at using the State's name or City's name as a way to stir up pride at his rallies. It's an age old technique that continues to add votes.

Hard to tell from a trailer but it doesn’t seem to paint Teddy or the Kennedy’s in a very good light.

Ted Kennedy: “Moses had a temper…”
Aide: “Moses had a temper but he never left a girl at the bottom of the Red Sea.”

Interesting that the comedian Jim Gaffigan is in this in serious role playing Paul F. Markham

I have been to Chappiquidick where the “accident” took place and no sober person could have made the mistake Kennedy made, taking the wrong turn and driving off that bridge... If that happened today, Kennedy would have lost his senate seat and the American people would have been spared decades of pain from the policies he championed. ROt in Hell, Teddy. Make room on the bench for Cardinal Law who is on his way down...
