Now, be fair, the GOP in the house and senate have been calling for a substantial business tax cut for YEARS.
I’m not refusing Trump credit where he deserves it, but it’s not fair to deny the GOP majorities the credit when they deserve it too.
The GOP is usually right on tax issues... though they do tend to be too soft on the lower end of the scale. This business of expanding the number of people who pay no federal income tax at all, every time there’s a tax cut, is an ongoing error that does great damage on election day, by protecting an ever larger segment from the consequences of their actions.

“Calling for” and actually being forced into doing it are two different things, my friend.
But to your point, Ok, I’ll cut them a little slack. It’s the Christmas season, after all, a time for Miracles. :^)
