What exactly is there to be skeptical about this?

Bannon is and was always in it for himself. It became pretty clear just before he was fired, but that is beyond clear now - especially since he has now been exposed as the leaker that was reeking so much havoc last year as one of the reasons he was given the axe.

My request is a very simple one.
I want to see the actual statement that Trump issued.
Trump communicates by Twitter, by White House Statements or in front of cameras.
Reports seem to indicate a statement. Perhaps there are other ways I’m not aware of.
I’ll keep looking for it.
I was hoping that those that have accepted the veracity of these reports
would have confirmed by reading or viewing Trump’s actual statement
and may be able to direct me to it.

I’m not jumping to a conclusion based on hearsay.

I’m not jumping to a conclusion based on hearsay.

Mind boggling. Questioning the authenticity of an officially released White House statement from the President - even 7 hours after an official press briefing occurred that authenticated it - an official press briefing readily and easily available that you call "hearsay."

Unreal.

Unreal is what I call being unable to come up with a verifiable link to this statement.
I watched SH press briefing. She did not read the statement.
I’ve looked at https://www.whitehouse.gov/news/ I don’t see anything there.
I’ve looked at Trump’s twitter feed, I see nothing there.

Reports say ‘White House issues official statement’, well where the hell is it?

I’m not trying to be unreasonable. I’m trying to be reasonable.
All I’m asking for is a link to the WH/Trump’s statement.
If the WH issued an ‘official statement’ then it is on record somewhere and can be accessed.
Maybe I’m blind but I don’t see it...

Not here... https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/
or here... https://www.whitehouse.gov/news/
or here... https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump

Nothing to be mind-boggled about.
If you find a link to the actual statement
and would be kind enough to share it, it would be appreciated.

Disagree without being Disagreeable

Have a Nice Evening

Really? I went to that link you supplied and found verification immediately: https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/01032017/

And numerous videos of the briefing can also be found easily and she did indeed discuss the statement at a great deal of length which obviously authenticates the statement they released that you question was ever officially released. If you had actually watched it you would know that. So why are you questioning this statement was released?

This isn’t a matter of disagreement.

I told you I watched the briefing.
I also said she didn’t read out the statement, as is clearly shown in the transcript of the briefing.

I’ve tried to make it plain that I want the official link to the statement.
I want to read the statement for myself.
That link you shared is to the briefing not to the released statement.

There is no disagreement.

Of course it was if you wanted to nominate the only candidate that had a chance of losing a Republican seat *in Alabama.*

This is a f***ing lie. I can only characterize it as a lie, because all evidence showed that Moore was going to stomp the dogsh*t out of Jones before the accusations.

You seem intent on trying to rewrite the facts to suit your desired outcome. Moore was going to win, and he was going to win big. You don't get the Democrats pouring Millions of dollars into a State race without them believing it was a serious race.

Moore was not a bad candidate until the media spread lurid accusations against him. Did you happen to miss the fact that Lisa Bloom (Gloria Allred's daughter) was just identified as trying to bribe women with 700,000 dollars to do the exact same thing to Trump?

If the daughter tried to drum up fake accusations against Trump, how much of a stretch is it to believe the mother did the same thing against Moore?

Moore has engaged in pure vanity politics for decades including using a judicial office to do so.

Says who? His detractors that hated him in the first place? I don't see defending the Ten Commandments as "Vanity Politics". I see it as something a helluva lot of other people should have been doing all along.

The Tyrant judges only win because people don't defy them. Defying them is what we should have been doing a long time ago.

What is "Vanity Politics" about ordering your subordinates to not condone or enable homosexual marriage in your state? Such an act is guaranteed to get the entire Liberal Media empire trying to destroy you. Who wants to hear what a piece of sh*t they are from the national media services? Doesn't sound very vain to me.

Everything would have been personally about drawing attention to himself and not a conservative agenda.

I didn't see it that way. I saw it as one man standing up for what is right, while cowards went along to get along.

We've got far too many of that type in political office already. What we need are people motivated by higher ideals.
