Alabama takes the win.

If proven true, needs then to play UCF two weeks later to make it official.

Just another reason why the playoffs should be expanded to 8 teams, not 4. By expanding the playoffs you would include more conferences and emerge with a more evident winner. Fans would be big winners. If an expanded format were in place we might have seen a Wisconsin-Alabama game, a matchup I would have enjoyed.

That said, I relish tonight’s game and have reserved the big screen TV for my exclusive use. Alabama has experience but Georgia is more explosive on offense. Should be a great game and my last of the season as I have given up on professional football.

Let’s organize it and split the profits.

Nonsense. You tell me with UCF’s schedule they deserved to be in the playoff?

UCF schedule:

FIU
MARYLAND
Memphis
CINCINNATI
East Carolina
Navy
AUSTIN PEAY
SMU
UConn
Temple
South Florida
Memphis (conference championship game — I am not even sure what conference this is.)

If you think UCF deserved to go to the playoffs, every team should play a schedule like this. Would you be saying Alabama deserved to be in the playoffs if they played that schedule?
