It is an honor to be here tonight as the recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Award. As surely almost everyone here well knows, DeMilles lastand his most successfulfilm was The Ten Commandments. This 1956 epic is a motion picture classic and one of the most popular films of all time. In the opening card, the words of DeMille himself read,
Our modern world defined God as a 'religious complex' and laughed at the Ten Commandments as OLD FASHIONED. Then, through the laughter, came the shattering thunder of the World War. And now a blood drenched, bitter world no longer laughing cries for a way out. There is but one way out. It existed before it was engraven upon Tablets of Stone. It will exist when stone has crumbled. The Ten Commandments are not rules to obey as a personal favor to God. They are fundamental principles without which mankind cannot live together.
Though they have never been more needed, tragically, such opinionsand certainly the values that such a statement reflectshave all but disappeared in todays Hollywood. As with the blood drenched, war-ravaged world of which Mr. DeMille spoke, there is but one way out of the craven, perverse, sex-obsessed, bitter world that now exists in Hollywood. The Ten Commandments help point us to that way.

Wow, you post nothing but this Trevor guy...
And you excerpt it, to direct traffic to his blog.
Any particular reason that you do this?
Any particular reason not to? Ever notice how many of his American Thinker pieces are here? Anyway, why not concern yourself more with the piece...
Using Free Republic as a free advertising tool.
That's what I think.
Well, you’re free to think all you want at “Free Republic,” but I’m not him. As I was saying, his American Thinker pieces are here all the time:
What sould a reader care if they are sent to AT or his site?
Everything you’ve ever posted is written by the same person.
Clearly you wish to promote this person.
But he isn’t you, hmmm?
She should have apologized for being such a racist pig.
She should apologize for lots of things, but yeah.
You should apologize for trying to use Free Republic as an advertising tool for your blog.
How very shameful, that is some very scummy behavior,
You really need to find another cause. Along with his readers, Mr. Thomas has a wife, teenage children, a mother, a father, siblings, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends, etc. who are big fans of his writing.
What do you know of my cause?
Mr. Thomas has a wife, teenage children, a mother, a father, siblings, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends, etc
Oh crap! Are they all going to come kick my butt if I notice that you are pimping your own material?
I'm intimidated, I'm a victim, oh no and woe is me.
And I see you’ve pounded this drum many times before: http://www.freerepublic.com/tag/by:humblegunner/index?tab=comments;brevity=full;options=no-change
Nothing I’ve ever done has anything to do with the fact that you are using Free Republic as an advertising tool for your blog.
And if I had a pudding pop to give you then you could suck it.
Nothing you’ve ever done proves any such “fact.” Keep your pop—as you’ve used that before as well—for yourself.
It sucks when someone points out that you are just pimping your own stuff, huh?
Not as much as it sucks to be wrong. Right?
Wrong about what?
You’re here pimping your own material, sending traffic to your blog
like a freeloading scumsucking crapweasel. It’s abundantly clear.
