To: the OlLine Rebel

I seem to get a song that grabs hold of me for a few weeks at a time. Right now it's The Commodores' "Sail On."

If a youtube comment is to be the believed it's either the first or only song to ever be #1 at the same time on the soul/r&b, pop, and country charts at the same time.

Looking at Wiki, uhuh.

Love it, but didn’t reach #1 on the pop charts anyway.

That comment made me wonder if it was mistaken for Richie’s “Lady” sung by Kenny Rogers. But Lady was not listed for R/B/black, yet did indeed do #1 for country and pop.
