All of these rules, clauses and conditions may be putting some people off from contributing.
As you may recall, part of the charm for most 70’s music was nonconformity or self determination.

Anywhoo...
1. MacArthur Park (any of three versions).
2. Something/Anything, Todd Rundgren
3. It’s Gonna Take a Miracle; by Laura Nyro backed by Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles.
4. Me and My Arrow by Harry Nilsson
5. Can’t Live Without You, Harry Nilsson.
6. That’s the way I’ve Always heard it should be, by Carly Simon.
7. Theme from Shaft, Issac Hayes
8. Barry White (anything)
9. Love and Happiness, by Al Green
10. Bee Gees (anything)

Done it before. Using Billboard songs.

Sorry, no personal entries. Must stick to those listed - thanks to Billboard!

#16. I nominate MacArthur Park by Richard Harris as the worst rock/pop song of all time.

If he sang that song in a real park, all the birds and squirrels would have died, esp. by suicide. The grass would have turned brown and burnt up, and the trees would have become tooth-picks just to get away from that song.
