Were the Embassy staff in on the gig, were they too complicit in the illegal operations? Or were those folks good guys, left to die?
First, there was no embassy there was a consulate with about four staff members and there was a CIA annex a few blocks away with another 23 (approx.) staff.
What was going on at the CIA annex I don’t know and have seen no hard evidence of. That said, everyone, all 27, were left to die that night after multiple stand down orders given to in-country forces and the lack of a CBA from 0blowhard for in-extremis forces.
