The Democrats have overreached on forcing this latest federal government shutdown. Prioritizing illegal children brought here under Obama’s illegal DACA program before 9 million American children who are U.S. citizens and will lose their insurance and 2 million military members who will be asked to work without pay… The SchumerShutdown is the latest disgusting act by the Democrats.
But they are starting to crack.
Democrat Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill) said on ABC’s This Week on Sunday morning that he thinks “the wall is a monumental waste of taxpayers’ money, and it’s to build a monument to stupidity and it’s just idiotic,” talking to George Stephanopoulos. However, he continued, saying, “Having said that, if that’s what it’s going to take in order to put 800,000 young men and women in the country … in a safe place and put them on course to full integration in our society… I say pay it.” Are they giving in? Is Gutierrez just the first grown up to come to the table to make a deal? Or is he simply an outlier? The Democrat Party leadership seems dug in to not get a deal done on DACA and border security to end the shutdown.

The real issue here isn't DACA, or chain migration, or anything else. The real issue is that Congress has no business wasting its time dealing with 800,000 illegal immigrants when there are more important matters to address.

The Democrats are manoeuvering, with Trump’s complicity, to sell Daca as something inevitable.
Trump is cornering himself with the bogus narrative of the “dreamers”, that these are innocent “kids”, that deserve a “bill of love”, that must be protected, etc, whereas these are the most entitled and arrogant illegals. Ann Coulter is right by saying they must be the first ones to be deported.
Trump will end up giving them the amnesty then tout this broken promise as a victory.

Drop the remote and step away from the TV. You’ve been listening to propaganda, and results of push polls. DACA isn’t popular. Now we have time to inform the public of the truth via tweets, ads, etc.
By the time this is addresed, the public should understand that the “kids” are in their 20s and 30s. And they’ll know that the “kids” are MS-13 and similar.

Calm down. There currently is no written DACA bill to even be voted on. They will put together some BS legislation that won’t pass both houses or survive Trumps veto. This is just a ploy by the GOP to look magnanimous in accepting Democrat defeat. The Dems literally ran to vote to reopen the get vt today.

I dont see Trump as complicit here,.There is no evidence that Trump is aware of what McConnell did to us by delinking Daca to our immigration demands. That bastard did this on his own or he would have mentioned Trumop. He did it with that reprobate FLAKE!! It is the greatest neck stab in political history. It even took me 45 seconds to figure out the ploy by McConnell.( as soon as Schumer announced a “DACA VOTE”, it was over) My guess is that Trump had no clue or he would have raised hell because take this to the bank— we are screwed blued and tattooed on the Wall. We must get a LAW out of this illegal alien business.
There was a time when our government enticed and encouraged Mexicans and South Americans to come here and work without them having to become citizens. The Chamber of Commerce and Big Business lavished work on them and bought their labor on the cheap. In exchange, the US government allowed the border to become an open door, on purpose.
Obama took that government power to another level. Remember the over burdened train loads of South Americans bursting from the seams, that Barack Obama encouraged to come in, and remember Obama saying they were “citizens”?
That kind of illegal executive lawlessness from the White House just MUST be reconciled. Obama should be made to pay for that kind of barbaric thinking designed to destroy our country and its sovereignty.
