Do they expect medals for not kneeling now?

I’m glad the Eagles won (finally). But CB Malcolm Jenkins knelt all season.

So, the previous kneelers fold on their convictions? Doesn’t say much about their character. It’s similar to Democrats becoming Republicans just to go to the trough.

I haven’t watched any football this season, I saw that in a Ministry of Propaganda article and foolishly believed it.

The NFL cannot be redeemed until its racial balance more resembles that of the nation. Too many white players never get a shot, and that begins on the college level.

I’m a Patriots fan but I’m glad Nick Foles was vindicated today. Zach Ertz is now the league’s best tight end not named Gronkowski.

The 100 percent black defences of both teams played poorly, giving up around 1100 yards.

Somewhere in Middle America there’s a new Dick Butkus or Larry Wilson or Bob Lilly.

I absolutely do not buy this stereotype of black athletic superiority. All other things being equal, discipline makes the difference — and discipline is the one thing today’s black players conspicuously lack.

It’s ok. I not only didn’t watch a game this year. I didn’t watch the Super Bowl. And I have been a deprived Eagles fan since 1960. It’s not the kneeding, it’s the NFL game. I hate it. I haven’t been able to watch a game for years.

I follow the game, but I can’t watch it.

“The NFL cannot be redeemed until its racial balance more resembles that of the nation.”

I dunno. It brings to my mind Jerry Seinfeld’s comments during an interview when asked about having more diverse comedians:
“Do people think it’s the census or something?” Seinfeld quipped, drawing laughter from the audience. “We represent the actual pie chart of America? Who cares?”

Correct that nobody kneeled, but I saw a few other subtle gestures of disrespect like covering one’s turned-aside face with the hands during the anthem; and another, rocking rhythmically back and forth to the groovy strains of The Star Spangled Banner.

This is a very good SB one of the best

Oh please! I like football. There was zero defense. The NFL is the QUARTERBACK SHOW. This was a joke. NFL RIP.

They stood but Patriots still engaged in antics, placing one hand on team mate’s shoulder to signal virtue. Fail.

That they, after engaging in these protest antics for two years, avoid it on one day means nothing to me. They’ll be back at it next season, so screw them.
