That’s my impression - that Page wanted Mueller to know that she pushed for the creation of the Special Counsel behind the scenes at the FBI and that the person with the redacted name was not the right person to be appointed as Special Counsel.
FWIW, Page was appointed to Meuller’s Special Counsel Team
in June 2017. Can’t locate exact date. She was still working there on Sept. 20 per news article. On Sept 29 it was in paper that she had left the Special counsel.
There have been many articles since the damm burst. Some say it was a Temp. position. That was never mentioned in the article of June 2017 Re: her appointment.
