How many were ever handcuffed as a result of any of Gowdy’s investigative hearings?

Zero?

According to the Constitution, as a member of Congress he can’t prosecute anyone for anything.

Do you understand that?

I do understand your frustration though. Sessions needs to start arresting these criminals.

“Congress doesn’t have prosecutorial powers.”

Yes, they do. Contempt of Congress is a charge that can provide punishment.

“Maybe because he doesn’t have the authority to prosecute anyone. Your post was foolish.”

Yes, Congress does, so your post was both childishly foolish and ignorant.

They don’t teach much in public schools, do they?

The problem with idiot like you is, as Reagan said, they know so much that isn’t true.

“According to the Constitution”

Go ahead, quote that part of the US Constitution that claims that. Go ahead, read the US Constitution for your first time, we’ll wait...

No they do not!
All Congress can do is investigate, gather evidence and make a referral to the DOJ.

Go study “Contempt of Congress”, a charge with punishments.

What an idiot. Public school don’t even teach civics classes anymore.

They’ve forgotten about the $5 billion missing from the State Department. They’ve forgotten about another $5 billion missing from Haiti reconstruction funds.

How about the trillion dollars we gave Obama at the beginning of his term? I remember money being given to districts that didn’t exist. Did anyone ever get to the bottom of it? Does anyone know where it really went?

Contempt of Congress is a referral to the DOJ and has been for years. It’s a misdemeanor in the federal code.

Please note; the House nor the Senate committees have NO PROSECUTORIAL POWERS. They refer their investigative findings to the DOJ and the DOJ ultimately decides whether or not to prosecute.

Bingo. In before certain Freepers scolding us it’s not gowdy’s job to file charges

It's not!
Nor is it the president's job.

What are the effing other 484 members of the legislature doing? Too busy stealing to bother?

It's almost humiliating to live during a time that, if Diogenes appeared searching among our corrupt elected criminal legislature, he would either commit suicide or look elsewhere for that "honest" man...

IRS employees that have been caught cheating on their taxes still work at the IRS. It’s insane.

No way! Surely the "good folks" at the IRS are honest.

Nothing but a gdamn criminal organization.

Televise the hangings.

MAKE THEM PAY-PER-VIEW!
I would definitely watch every day.

IT would pay off the national debt in less than 10 years... with no increase in taxes.
Unless the imbeciles keep deficit spending going. (Yes, that would include Trump!)

He's still looking for his phone and his pen while we get taken to the cleaners by the democratics, the corrupt, useless GOPe AND THEIR CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS...
