We tend to focus on the bad role model of violence in TV and movies, but forget about the constant depiction of real-life violence that plays out on the news constantly. Tragedies like the one in Florida are exploited for dramatic television and huge ratings in cable news, spawning MORE violence from mentally-ill copycats. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if media isn’t aware of the psychological effects but knows it’s a path to forward the left-wing agenda of gun control. Until we start confronting this deadly viscous cycle, the mass shootings aren’t going to stop (and I’m not entirely convinced the mainstream left-wing media WANTS it to stop).
