“A well regulated militia, being necessary for the security of a free state, the right of THE PEOPLE to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.”
The Second Amendment SPECIFICALLY recognizes the RIGHT of THE PEOPLE (INDIVIDUALS) to KEEP and BEAR shoulder arms and side arms of MILITARY UTILITY.
That would include burst-fire tactical rifles, sub-machine gins, rocket-propelled grenade launchers, shoulder fired missles and anti-tank weapons, and THE AMMUNITION for them!
Unfortunately or not, “...the right of THE PEOPLE to keep and bear arms...” is an inadequately defined series of words.
