To: Harmless Teddy Bear

A cadet doesn’t get full military honors.

If he was IN the military, I would have no problem. The traditions and honors people get for dying in combat is not some “make a wish” charity.

This is about what the kid wanted. They already did that with the silly admissions stunt.

If the governor wants to send some national guard unit to act as pallbearers, that’s fine. But full honors? Nope.

This honor is not something for combat.

It is the ROTC version of a soldier's metal. It has been around for quite a while.

And no, you do not get a military funeral just for dying in combat.
