Yep - having Peterson maybe discover he was a coward at the wrong time would have been one thing - with 4 deputies loitering outside, it smacks of orders to not go in.
Israel may think using Peterson as his personal scapegoat is a good idea but Peterson has a lot of "authorities" to protect and he will fail to protect - again....

it smacks of orders to not go in.I can see the SRO guy being told to wait until he gets backup because Cruz could take him down and add his weapon to his arsenal and the newly arrived officers wouldn't know where he was. Yes, a real man would go in on his own but whatever, there are rules. However, when the other officers arrived, there's no excuse for not going in.
Broward County. What a sad, sad joke it is and has been since before it's hanging chads. It must be something in the water as there can't be that many totally stupid people in one area outside of CA.
