What they really mean is:
— We are somehow “smarter” than all those really “dumb” people who tried Socialism before
— This country has a lot more $$ and potential victims than other Socialist paradises
— We don’t care how many times it failed. We really, really want absolute power. And we want it now, regardless of the consequences.

True, but the opposition NEVER ‘cleans house’ of those whom promote\support these failed ideologies (Thugocracies).

Seems, IMO, they are always allowed to escape and begin the cycle anew. No firing-squads, no huntin-’em-down

Never do they look back and encode into Law a correction. I mean, we have La Raza, the Communist Party, etc. ACTIVELY engaged in the downfall of the U.S. and We do....*NOTHING*. Not even ‘round up and ship to their totalitarian regime of choice. Multiple wars we’ve fought to education and point to as examples, but no follow-thru
