Sedona is beautiful...high up though! Lots of crime near Tucson, AZ. My friends there all carry guns, wherever they go. Too many snakes for me, as they live out on desert floor. HOT! I have never lived there....we knew each other on east coast! I visited....those scary scorpions.
Thanks for the info! We are life-long Washingtonians who are close to retirement and heartily sick of the politics and the taxes(and the rainy winters) in this state.
Have lots of friends who have moved to Arizona but the extreme heat, coupled with the snakes, makes me think we need to look elsewhere!
