A "reality" that is based on feelings, such as the writer describes, is, in fact, no "reality" at all--just the imagined victimhood of the individual for whom "feelings" define her/his existence in the real world.

Such a "feelings"-based existence must make for a miserable life, inasmuch as the "others" who surround such an individual never can be certain of how their words or ideas may be appropriated (or misappropriated) by whatever the perpetual "victim" is "feeling" at any given time.
