“I’m sure you would have been much happier with Clinton.”

Actually, I would have. At least I wouldnt have to have this level of disgust when she signed this exact bill with pelosi and schumer laughing all the way to the bank. I would have expected it. He just signed away EVERYTHING he campainged on. From now on the dems will walk all over him

I am done. I have been stabbed in the back for the last time.

***************

You maybe done but I suspect you’ve got some chance of being
disappointed sometime in the future. Life goes on until the God
above removes us.

Sounds like you need to find some other things to occupy your
time besides this forum. Take care.

Did Trump say he wasn’t going to spend a lot of money? I think he has to in order to fix the mess we’re in.

> Perhaps I missed something but right now, I am totally pissed. <

You and me both. This spending bill does more than just greatly increase the national debt. It sends billions of US tax dollars overseas, to be spent on nonsensical social justice causes.

No “draining of the swamp” here.

I suppose some folks will say that I just don’t see the six-dimensional chess going on. Well, they’re right. I just don’t see it.

I think there’s a connection with Vanessa suddenly wanting a divorce.

She sees the writing on the wall, about somethingorother, and wants her half at the top. Rather than later on at the bottom when it’s half of zero.

IF all of your faith is wrapped up in President Trump, then that is your big problem. Your faith should be in Jesus and no one else. With God on our side President Trump will triumph in the end.

“I endured ridicule and loss of friends”

If the privilege of supporting Trump was anything less than an enjoyable experience, including being ridiculed by the ridiculous, then you weren’t a real suppporter in the first place.

“Enjoy your impeachment, you have earned it.”

This also gives you away as a never Trumper at heart.

Let’s not forget that when Pence was Governor of Indiana, he capitulated to the Gaystapo.

Pence is no fighter.

Phew! At least you didn't say you were fond of Ted Cruz.

That'll get you in trouble around here!

I’ll stick around. He hasn’t lied to us and is trying fight them. He knows our military is in trouble. Any of you think he might realize he may need to use it soon.

That's my take too... they made him an offer he couldn't refuse. The safety of the country vs being re-elected. Trump chose the safety of the country.

Exactly: he had to veto. I know we want to remain positive but it appears the party is over folks. Something is looking really weird to me. His main attorney quit then he signs this bill. Listening to rush now. If you think the OP here is upset you should hear the guy that just called in to rush. I seriosly think several million republican voters just tossed their registration in the trash. We will lose the house in November then even if he avoids impeachment I’m not sure he will be able to accomplish much.

If you do that, then we’ll never get the country back. Are you certain you’re American and not French?

It wasn't that the bill was not perfect. It was a democrat bill. It violated his promise to the people made during the campaign. Do away with Obama care?....no. Cut spending?.....no. Draining the swamp?.....Not yet.

I do realize he has had to fight off the democrats and the republicans. But he just threw away a very large proportion of the people who showed up at his rallies. He broke faith with the people and so did the republicans. Speaker Pelosi and Majority leader Schummer will rise next November. The fact of the matter is that the republicans lied to us again and they have cornered Trump, forcing him to do the same. You children and grandchildren have just been given the promise that they will become the slaves of the Communist Chinese and the Japanese. Time is short....probably too short.

That’s the way I saw it also. Plenty of body language, comments and inferences that signing this bill went against all of his beliefs and instincts. Everything President Trump said today gave strong signals that war is on the horizon. He could have vetoed this crap bill but knows time is not our friend when it comes to getting our military back to wartime readiness.

War with a belligerent nation state is coming and we will most likely be fighting it alone.

“Disappointed? Yes. I would have preferred a veto.
Sometimes you don’t get the best deal but the best
you can get.”

If you consider a bill that has nancy pelosi and chuck schumer celebrating, dancing in the streets and literally boasting live on television about how this is a better bill than they ever could have hoped for with president obama, and control of both houses, then I have no idea what a bad deal is. I thought schumer crowing about it on live television was the ultimate display of hubris I had ever witnessed, I was wrong, all of his cocky strutting was completely justified.

So much hyperbole.

At first, I thought I was reading the hysterical rant of a disappointed Hillary supporter the night of the election when they found out she lost.

Trump should have vetoed the bill but, come on, life goes on.

Wishing for his impeachment over signing a spending bill is a little much.

Maybe Hillary would have done better, huh?

This is who we voted for. We can take some solace in that the alternative was Hillary.
