Sigs are truly excellent guns. At one time or another I have owned several P226’s, a P220 and a P225. I can’t recall any others off hand.

The P-226 fit my hand really well. Almost as well as the Browning Hi-Power.

You should really have treated yourself to a SIG 210, the SIG 210-4 having been the choice of the West German Bundesgrenzeschutze when I was stationed on the then-West German 5-KM Zone opposing the Soviet Iron Curtain. The single-action 210-4 was the handgun with which I earned my German Schützenschnur shooting award, a decorative silver rope worn over the right shoulder.

We did not expect to stop any oncoming Soviet onslaught with handgun fire, but handguns were indeed among the many novelties we had in the toybox.
