The fascist, intolerant, and oppressive nature of today’s leftist culture has now gotten so bad that The Atlantic, a liberal publication long considered a reasonable intellectual voice from the left, can no longer tolerate for more than two weeks the hiring of a conservative, even though that conservative, Kevin Williamson, was also a vehement opponent of Donald Trump....Williamson’s firing is only one example of a legion of similar stories. There is the fascist intolerance of modern academia for example. Or we can talk about the hateful scapegoating of innocent NRA members...Or maybe we should mention the hate and violence committed against children and students, merely because they either wear a “Make America Great Again” t-shirt or carry signs supporting Trump.

It was his editorship that Made Atlantic Great Again.
Without him the mag/rag devolved quickly into a reflexive lefty handmaiden and continued to deteriorate precipitously. Today it is staffed by the usual liars and loons who would openly cheer the death of Kelly, a brave and honest man.

...worked the 76’, 80’, and 84’ Reagan campaigns here in Michigan...but I don’t have a Blog.
What IS IT, with Robert Zimmerman’s science/political blog, that pulls out the crazies?
Would somebody please tell me?

—Yes, I am new to FR.
I will however start collecting my Social Security checks next year, and was a Movement Conservative way back when DJT loved abortions & liberal-progressive democrat-policies. (some of which he still loves, like Phony Infrastructure borrowing/spending.)
—Zimmerman has been running his Blog for like’ 15+ years. He has no advertising, doesn’t have ‘premium membership,’ and gives it all away for free in a crisp-n-clean package, and doesn’t require you to sign in to comment.
He does take donations, or you can buy his books-— he doesn’t however run extended “marathons” begging for money constantly.
