When did it start though? The French fought for 113 years to throw out the English. Nobody would have called the French surrender monkeys when the fought the world under Napoleon. They lost millions of men in WW1 — even in WW2 the German's lost tens of thousands of men taking France, and thousands of French troops fought on in exile. They fought in Vietnam, in Africa...The French were certainly not a culture of surrender. Now all of Europe is. Germany, France, Britain...They've all turned into dystopian wastelands.
Its been happening bit by bit since the end of WW2, but it's still shocking to read articles like this. God help them, they're even more screwed than we are.
