Not all SS minimums (and maximums) are the same.

For example, recent studies have suggested that when a northern hemisphere sunspot minimum and a southern hemisphere sunspot minimum are phasing, you get a grand minimum.

That's what they are claiming is going on now.

There’s an 11-year cycle, and a 206-year cycle, and a 400-year cycle, and a 2000-year cycle.
