You might be right, but what I remember from all of that is that Libby made a statement that was at odds with a statement another witness made, and the FBI assumed he was the one lying. The other witness might have been Judith Miller, but I don't recall for certain.
The other witness was a hostile one, Tim Russert.
One of the jurors was a journalist.
At least one juror had a conflict of interest and should never have been in the pool.
As for Judith Miller, a note she wrote in her journal was ambiguous and she insists Fitzy deliberately misinterpreted it to use against Libby.
