Latin America in grip of murder crisis (Liberals demand we bring more of this to USA?)

Latin America has suffered more than 2.5m murders since the start of this century and is facing an acute public security crisis that demands urgent and innovative solutions, a new report warns.

“The sheer dimensions of homicidal violence are breathtaking,” says the report by the Igarapé Institute, a Brazil-based thinktank focused on security and development issues.

The publication, released on Thursday, paints a bleak portrait of what it calls the world’s most homicidal continent.

Latin America suffers 33% of the world’s homicides despite having only 8% of its population. One-quarter of all global homicides are concentrated in four countries – Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela – all of which are gearing up for presidential elections in which security is a dominant theme.

“The overall trend right now in Latin America is one of increasing homicides and deteriorating security,” said Robert Muggah, one of the report’s authors.

This and the “migrant caravan”… Democrats demand we import more of this to our shores... yet we are to be disarmed?

Prayers going out to family and friends caught in this horror. Tolerating socialist evil and permitting them to flourish has brought unimaginable misery to millions South of us. The left is happy about it though, maybe we should send all of them to experience it down there first hand.

I admit to watching several videos of murders in Brazil. I am absolutely floored by how cheap life is there. People are shot and barely anyone notices. A petty criminal is shot and people stand around laughing and taking videos.

It truly is sickening.

A complete failure of the Latin America Catholic Church perhaps?

“Liberation theology” began in Latin America... where God was fired and Karl Marx hired. Seems HELL has been brought down on those the Church was sanctioned to Save.

And now with the Marxist Pope, “Liberation theology” is poised to metastasize throughout the entire Catholic world.

Old Serpent smiles!!!

I honestly think you’re on to something. I have reflected on what appears to be a satanic stronghold in Latin America.

Obviously, more gun control is needed. Anyone who opposes this common-sense measure are Confederate loving hillbillies.

I admit to going to the subReddit called “Watch People Die”, and must concur that all Latin countries (but mainly Brazil) do not share our sanctity of life concept.

There’s a reason Brazil is called “The Land of Sandals and Machetes”.

My favorite one is from a prison in Brazil where they pull an enemy’s arm through the bars and pull hard while others beat the guys arm so hard with steel rods that his arm looked like a rubber band at the end.

Horrific, but I can’t look away.

I remember a day when there was Latin America and there was South America. Has something changed?
