Once upon a time, science called the energy received from the Sun as "The Solar Constant". They now know better, the Sun experiences cycles, warmer and cooler. But. the political wing of science elects to ignore the activity of the Sun as it is inconvenient for their human activity narrative. In their world, SUV's are much more important than that big yellow ball in the sky. If the sun enters a period of reduced radiation, we might be very happy that we have pumped up the carbon dioxide.

Better rank up the pollution. We could be heading into an ice age.

Whatever is happening on the sun, it can’t effect the climate because only greedy American corporations are that powerful. They make the sun look like a 4th of July sparkler by comparison.

Why would anyone care? We all know the earth’s climate is controlled by American SUVs and that the sun has no effect on our weather, climate, or temperature. That’s called science.

“Global Climate Change” changed by fearmongers to “Global Climate Disruption.” Florida public education victims are suing the sun as we speak for causing this tragedy. Details at eleven.

True. But now some are covering their ass and saying that global cooling is occurring .. and to thank God for that as it will negate some of the Global Warming taking place (I kid you not)

If the Sun cycles down significantly we could not produce enough CO2 to save ourselves.
It has negligible effect.

When those liberal progressive are freezing their ass off in the summer, I am sure they will blame in on man made global warming.

Most of the petroleum based fuels in the Northeast come from Texas and Louisiana. I propose an “export tax” on those fuels to the Northeast. They sit on vast reserves of natural gas they refuse to exploit due to “environmental concerns.” The export tax should be to us in Texas and Louisiana to pay damages to our environment that really do not exist.

ps
In the past exploration for petroleum did cause environmental damages particularly in the coastal swamps. That day is over due to reasonable regulations. The environmental damages were due to canals dug through the swamp that allowed salt water intrusion. That no longer happens. Canals are still dug but barriers are erected to prevent salt water intrusion.

The greatest killer of the environment is the Corp of Engineers. They put the Mississippi in a straight jacket of levees. The sediments that in the past flowed into the swamps and marshes now goes to the mouth of the river and down the continental shelf to the deeps of the Gulf of Mexico. That is what is killing the marsh and swamps of Louisiana. As a result man now builds in what was marsh and swamp and we should have never built there.

In today’s Parade Magazine (it comes with the Sunday Paper), that Gal from MENZA Marilyn vos Savant is asked about the effect of the Sun Cycle on Globull Warming.

Here is the question and answer...

I have a specific question about one aspect of climate change. We know the sun is our source of energy, and that variations in solar activity have been responsible for past climate changes. But only relatively recently have we been able to measure its energy output. So how can we know that another variation is not responsible for much of the current global warming?

—Lauren Mickelson-Jones, Dallas, Texas

If increased solar activity were causing the warming, we would expect all layers of Earth’s atmosphere to be warmer. Instead, scientists have observed cooling in the upper atmosphere and warming in the lower atmosphere and at the surface of the planet.

That’s a new one...
