isn’t it Ronnie Barrett?
Hornady just became mine!
.
I appreciate the sentiment but given the price difference I think we'll stick with the cheaper brand - unless Hornaday can show that their ammo makes bad guys 42% deaderer.
Hornady is often sold out of their more popular bullets already. Cutting off NYS simply appeals to their base customer, and maybe affects demand in a slightly positive. way.
The Hornady .223 75gr BTHP Match was the 200-300 yard bullet used by the Oregon National Guard Service Rifle team from 2001-2003. It’s still my go to bullet for AR matches.
“I will point out for those who carry, Hornady Critical Defense is very good out of short-barreled semis.”
Not good for full-size 1911s?
God bless you Hornady!
The 124 grain HST P9HST1 is dang near impossible to beat. Now when it comes to match rifle shooting, the Hornady rifle brass, and match bullets are very nice. You can get better with Lapua, but the price gets excessive.
If ALL gun makers and ammunition manufacturers would do this, it would squeeze the communists and teach them that their tactics arent going to work.
Now the gun manafacturers need to refuse to sell spare parts to NY or any other government that hates the Bill of Rights.
Oh, sure, they do just fine, it's just that a lot of people prefer +P ammo for self-defense. Personally I'm not sure it makes all that much difference, but out of a longer barrel you have better muzzle velocity optimization, or so in theory. I do a lot better with a follow-up shot in a subcompact with standard pressure ammo - less muzzle flip - and most self-defense shooters don't have to worry about barrier penetration as LEOs do. Just my $0.02 and I'm sure a lot of people disagree.
If someone chartered a bank called 2ND AMENDMENT BANK, I suspect it could be quite a success.
Nice going Mr. Hornady. Hopefully some of your friends will join you.
I first handled a 1911 in 1963 in JROTC. I never fired anything but issue ammunition until around 2008. My (middle) son, SIL, and I have endless discussions about the best carry ammunition, but never reach any final conclusion.
I just use whatever my son brings home. I have faith in the 1911. If I put one on target when appropriate, quickly enough, I should be good regardless of the type of ammunition.
Won’t work. They’ll contract with some foreign govt contractor or even our own US Ammunition plant at Lake City- But I repeat myself- ATK is Swedish-held.
You cannot starve the money laden beast- it is self propagating by virtue of politics and taxation.
It can only be changed by replacement -voting and appointments until...
BTTT Thank you!
They all need to do that.
Gun manufacturers, Ammo manufacturers, even holster makers should all boycott selling to these leftist -anti-constitutionalist state and city government's thug squads.
It is indeed. Thanks for the correction.
