U.S. Military binoculars have laser shields built in.
I have no idea how effective they are.
It would be easy to thwart a laser shield if you knew which wavelengths it blocked, and which it didn’t.
My son flies P-3s for the Navy. He told me he has been lasered a couple of times. He tried to describe it to me, and I didn't completely understand. It sounds really disorienting.
He said he has a device he can wear to minimize any laser effect or possible injury, but wearing it for any length of time gives him something like a migraine headache.
I told hom his million dollar career idea for his retirement is to invent one that doesn't give people a headache.
