Meek Mill: Jay-Z Convinced Him to Cancel Trump Visit
TMZ ^ | May 18, 2018

Meek Mill bailed on a visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Friday after a late-night call from Jay-Z ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story ... Meek agreed to travel to the White House to discuss prison reform. President Trump is hosting a Prison Reform Summit. Participants include members of Congress, various activists and, clearly, people who have become victims of the system.

We're told Jay called Meek Thursday night and made it clear ... meeting with Trump would be problematic for his image and for the cause.

We're told other high-profile African-Americans also called Meek and voiced serious concern.

Meek tells us, "I was originally scheduled to be part of a panel on Prison Reform at the White House to help shed light on the issues within the system. Unfortunately, the focus turned to the President and Myself which concerned me that it might take away from creating a positive result from today’s discussions."

He continues, "As a result, I decided not to attend so that the focus would be solely on fixing our prison system. Most importantIy I remain fully committed to improving our criminal justice system."

They want things to improve but won’t meet with those who can help. Keep the ghettos strong, scumbags.

“Git yo ass back on the plantation Meek,” is all Jay-Z told him. Pathetic. Talk about “Woke.” More like “Stupid is as stupid does.”

Bad for “it’s” image and “THE cause”. Cause y’all just straight up dumbasses or wut. Not playing is a losing proposition. Only conservatives must compromise(I.e., cave in) to make progress.

Yeah don’t do anything to actually solve the problem. Better to sit outside and complain, Jay-Z is a clown

I do not believe they REALLY want things to change. That is lip service to feed the victim culture. They may even believe that they "want" things to change. But for that to happen, they would need a cultural evolution from dependence and victim-hood to rugged individualistic and honorable grit and determination. They would have to embrace the iconic and original American culture in pursuit of the original American Dream.

That's hard work and requires respected leadership from within their "cultural class".

Well...when you are looking for reform, isn’t talking to someone who can enact reform the best way to go? Did Obama ever have a panel about this? If so, what were the results?

Jay-Z would do well to mind his own business and tend to his current investigation by the SEC and sure to be upcoming investigation over fake streaming data and royalty payments from his music service, Tidal.

“Yes stay on the plantation where it is safe, venture off you might actually find freedom”

Consider what freedom means:
1) Taking personal responsibility and accepting accountability
2) Respecting others
3) Producing instead of taking
4) Learning from failure, not complaining
5) Valuing and pursuing a real eduction
6) Exercising self discipline

Freedom is not easy. Freedom is not simply sexual gratification without consequences.

Jay Z is a scumbag.

His only claim to fame is being with Beyonce, his musical career was only so-so, before that he was nothing but a crack dealer .... including all the misery and intimidation that went along with it

So, Meek is taking his advice from a crack dealer ... what’s that quote about people never getting out of the ghetto because of “bad choices” ??

... duh

So instead of being part of the civic process, and meeting the president at the White House, you listen to a middle-aged rapper that only pretends like he is “hard core” while he sips sissy champagne on his yacht?

And what did you get for that other than some internet brownie points?
