This will cause all kinds of problems. A lot of folks will not be very cooperative. If true, They’ll tie this to some personal economic interests, like wanna keep ur house, turn in gun(s). People will get hurt. Everyday folks, police, govt types. These politicians will get more people killed with stuff like this, then just letting things be.
This is exactly what the 2nd Amendment is in the Constitution for, and was designed to prevent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Without serious penalties for false or malicious reports, this is a bad bill. The timid, the vindictive, the gun haters, and criminals could use this to harass and disarm the innocent.

Even if they pass it in both houses, there is no way they have 2/3 in both to override Trump’s certain veto. Do they really want that to lead them into the 2018 elections?
