Naturalists have for years warned us about eating “highly processed” foods. Isn’t soybeans made into fake meat highly processed?
“The last time I had been to a KCF was probably 10 years ago, maybe longer.”
They did a recipe change, probably longer than 10 years ago where the flavor of their product went downhill considerably and the oil content went up. I think it had to do with the national PC craze at that time where transfat was bad for you, so most fast food dumps changed out their grease to be PC compliant, much the same way salt is all but eliminated in many products due to the current PC assault against salt.
There’s nothing stupider than eating a saltine cracker that has no salt like they used to, or saltless sunflower seeds, etc.
Lefties do whatever possible to take enjoyment out of life so we can be as miserable as they are.
Oy. Bad news for kangaroos.
Actually, it’s not stupid for my mother to eat unsalted saltines. She has kidney failure.
these fake “meat” patties are usually mostly carbs; add one of those to the usual white bread bun, a bunch of ketchup or ketchup-based “secret” sauce, fries and soda and you have an all-carb meal. the healthiest part of any fast food is the meat, tomato, pickle and lettuce ... if you want to avoid weight gain and also eat healthy, get your burger in the form of a lettuce wrap and eschew the soda, the fries, and the cookies and pies ...
Yes. As are fake soy cheese and milk.
Often, those pushing a vegetarian/vegan diet espouse all-natural and organic foods with religious zeal. Then they eat highly processed meat substitutes. I doubt they even perceive the irony.
“Parts is parts.”
