Thanks for reminding me to write a complaint letter to KFC. I used to eat there regularly, and liked both the original and their spicy-crispy chicken, from back in the day.

I got some coupons in my mailbox, and thought I'd give it a try... The last time I had been to a KCF was probably 10 years ago, maybe longer.

When I opened the box, the sides were amazingly small. But the worst part was the chicken. To say it was greasy doesn't even begin to cover it. The bottom of the box had a pool of grease. I put the chicken on some paper towels to try to absorb it, 3 layers thick. It immediately soaked through, and I then put down fresh towels. Eventually, when I took a bite, the it was very greasy, not juicy.

From now on, I'll be sticking with Popeyes or Churches.

Mark

“The last time I had been to a KCF was probably 10 years ago, maybe longer.”

They did a recipe change, probably longer than 10 years ago where the flavor of their product went downhill considerably and the oil content went up. I think it had to do with the national PC craze at that time where transfat was bad for you, so most fast food dumps changed out their grease to be PC compliant, much the same way salt is all but eliminated in many products due to the current PC assault against salt.

There’s nothing stupider than eating a saltine cracker that has no salt like they used to, or saltless sunflower seeds, etc.

Lefties do whatever possible to take enjoyment out of life so we can be as miserable as they are.
