Yeah, but you don’t have to deal with school bureaucrats, state bureaucrats, DOE BS, having to actually deal with kids who don’t want to learn, etc.

Good teachers can easily make $50 to $75 per hour tutoring...and you get the same benefits you listed. You usually get the cream of the crop kids whose parents are shelling out the big bucks for their kids to excel.

My daughter tutored Chinese high school kids in algebra and biology when she was in college. She always said the kids didn’t need the help, but Mom and Dad were making SURE that they didn’t forget anything during the summer months. They were ready to resume when school started again in August.

I always thought it was funny — a Caucasian kid tutoring Asian kids.
