Yep, Judge Robert Yates left the Philly convention early and presumably blabbed to NY governor Clinton about the proceedings.
Despite his Anti-Federalist writings he came around to supporting the Constitution.
But, by 1913 we forgot his warning to “adjust the parts, and guard against an abuse of authority.”
