Hatred of Trump The ONLY ‘News’
Canada Free Press ^ | 06/12/18 | Judi McLeod

Hating Trump is the ONLY ‘NEWS’ fed to long-suffering masses, sick to death of the hackneyed opinions of talking heads and celebrities.

For more than the past year and a half, Hatred of Trump has been the only news as the mainstream and social media curry favor with the progressive left, still out there trying to find non-existent evidence that the Russians stole the election from Hillary Clinton.

Hatred of Trump ‘NEWS” has more than 50 shades of grey, so many that readers and viewers can’t possibly shut the lid on it, and are media-deprived from what is happening beyond the never-ending Hatred of Trump recitations.

Just read Jonah Goldberg's latest piece on NRO - pathetic.
Glad I kissed NR goodbye finally, (VDH was the only rational person left still writing for it).

The hate filled anti-Trump fake news media - kinda self explanatory.

At some point they're going to have to walk it back.

I wonder how they'll do it?

Probably just try to pretend it never happened, although I don't think PDJT is going to let them get away with it. They have to keep up the act until after the 2018 elections, or the Democrats will turn on them, and there will be a total left-wing crackup meltdown, a civil war within the liberal world.

I've never seen the MSM-Democrat establishment go so far out over the abyss in my life. It's incredible, they are literally a cult. A cult has pretty much taken over the whole establishment of our country.

Trump cannot be allowed to succeed because it would nullify DC, pundits, MSM, and the PC culture.

Most reporters, pundits, politicians are idiots and pawns of big money.

The Trump haters will never acknowledge that news of this meeting somehow, someway reached the depths of the North Korean prison camps. Trump has given hope and comfort to some of the most desperate, forgotten people on earth. That is the essence of peace.

When people asked me if I read something in the newspaper or saw something on TV news, I tell them I don't do either. Some are slack-jawed. How can I stay informed without watching the TV news or reading the newspaper?

I get all of my news on the internet and then filter it myself, instead of allowing the media to filter to me first. Every newspaper, every TV news channel, every radio talk show, are all biased with somebody's narrative.

If I read and watch a broad spectrum of outlets for the news, throw in a little wisdom, clarity and seasoning arrived at after living 70 years on the planet, I can pretty much sift out what the basic truth is and what really is happening, not what someone else with an agenda is telling me is going on.

Every now and then, in response to a FAR-LEFT rant, someone here merely posts a picture of the late unlamented Josef Goebbels. No words, just that picture.
I’m not going too far, when I think that the same picture SHOULD be on the TV screen over the nightly “rants” It would really be appropriate, woudln’t it?
I am NOT calling the MSM NAZIS, rather poinnting out who they learned their lesson from. PROPAGANDA UBER ALLES.

Bush League Republicans thought they had US in a box and we would have no choice but to keep voting for their amnesty candidates until we lost our country.

"I've never seen the MSM-Democrat establishment go so far out over the abyss in my life."

Perhaps you're just not old enough.

I was around when President Nixon was re-elected in a landslide that, to the media and the Democrats (excuse the redundancy) was humiliating, embarrassing and totally unacceptable.

And we know what they did about that.

I am glad the geezer Bush the First is still sucking air watching his “New World Order” go down in flames. Dan Perino is very upset. Boo hoo....

I was around when President Nixon was re-elected in a landslide that, to the media and the Democrats (excuse the redundancy) was humiliating, embarrassing and totally unacceptable.

And we know what they did about that.

I was a high-school junior in 1972, and all my friends (that were political) were for McGovern. My entire attention span was taken up by my girlfriend at the time.

In 1973, I began to pay attention to Watergate, and the MSM went hog-wild over that, it's true, but I'm afraid Nixon gave them the opportunity, they just ran with it.

So you're right, I am a little short of old enough.

The Watergate saturation coverage went from roughly the spring of '73 clear through Nixon's resignation in August of '74, and then they went on dancing on his (political) grave until dip-excrement Carter was elected. Ford got rolled over like Rachel Corrie, they scraped him off the pavement. WIN buttons, give me a break.

So the MSM kept it up with Watergate for about three years. They'll try to keep it up with PDJT for ten, but by the end of those ten years what's left of the MSM will look like a ghost.

For all intents and purposes, there were 4 TV channels to watch in the early-mid '70's.

All of them literally had wall-to-wall coverage of Watergate, including gavel-to-gavel coverage of the Democrat-controlled congressional hearings, spotlighting that "wise, old country lawyer" Sam Ervin trashing Nixon and all Republicans every chance he opened his spittle-laden mouth.

All network coverage included "analysis" from such stalwarts as Dan Rather, praising the Democrats for their Lincolnesque statesmanship in saving the republic.

Nixon never had a chance.

Every newspaper, every TV news channel, every radio talk show, are all biased with somebody's narrative.
The desire of being believed, the desire of persuading, of leading and directing other people, seems to be one of the strongest of all our natural desires. - Adam Smith, Theory of Moral Sentiments (1759)

The natural disposition is always to believe. It is acquired wisdom and experience only that teach incredulity, and they very seldom teach it enough. The wisest and most cautious of us all frequently gives credit to stories which he himself is afterwards both ashamed and astonished that he could possibly think of believing. - Adam Smith, Theory of Moral Sentiments (1759)
If I read and watch a broad spectrum of outlets for the news, throw in a little wisdom, clarity and seasoning arrived at after living 70 years on the planet, I can pretty much sift out what the basic truth is and what really is happening, not what someone else with an agenda is telling me is going on.
Individually, our "acquired wisdom and experience” rarely teach “incredulity” enough. But here on FR we pool our incredulity, and that gives us an advantage.
