I am convinced the destructive part of the left is only about the 5 percent most militant. the problem is that on the left they go for consensus of opinion and it is this 5 percent that hold sway over everyone. as conservative we have to identify these individuals in what ever organization we are in and confront them because when confronted early on they are weak it is only if you ignore them and try and get along that they become dangerous to the organization as he rest of the leftists in the organization conform to theses disturbed individual.
Gretchen Carlson looked awful when she tried to explain how even Rosa De Lauro could win under the new rules. Just imagine how compelling it will be to watch 50 De Lauro types lecture us o. World peace! ugh

The beauty pageant was itself a progressive institution meant to undermine traditional rules on women’s modesty in public.
The irony now the progressives want to stamp it out is not lost on me.
I doubt many men watch these things anyhow. I would like to know the male/female ratings split for these things. I have never heard a man say he has to rush home to catch the start of a beauty pageant. I bet gay men might watch them for the glamor and glitz.

There is an obvious solution to the swim-suit competition ban:
Have every contestant wear swimwear under their ‘acceptable’ outfits, and have them all fitted with a wardrobe malfunction option. Call it a free-speech/freedom-of-expression feature.
