My kids (all in their 20’s) mostly listen to 80’s music. They always lament about there not being any good music from their generation. No bands with multiple hits. All krap and hip hop.
There is great music being made, and with the internet it is easy to find. The problem is that there is no shared music experience with the death of radio and the rise of portable individual music entertainment. That lack of shared fandom and appreciation is a shame.

Same here. Kids grew up listening to classic rock and roll, rockabilly etc. They also mention that nothing today compares. The young guys at work listen to music that gives me the same reaction as hearing a dentists drill.

I am finding lots of band’s concerts from my generation on YouTube. Both old news and new ones. Very entertaining. I always liked the live sound over the studio.
Figures that some lame-ass Sessions-Junkie would like some stupid crap-ass song that sucks almost as much as Jeffey Sessions sleeps. The songs music sucks, the lyrics are lame, the title is jerk, the band name is ALMOST as horrible as you — but not quite, nothing could be as horrible as you.
